Nature

This photo was taken at Badger Creek State Park. I had never been to the park and decided to stop there on my way back home from Des Moines to see what I could see there.
I took this photo while on one of my many hikes near Lake Panorama Iowa.

This is the Missouri River Valley from the top of the Loess Hills. If you look closely you can see the city of Omaha on the left side of the valley.
It may not look all that deep, but I was knee deep in the racoon river when I took this photo. In hindsight I probably should have taken my boots off before walking into the river.

If you look to the left underneath the banana tree leaf you can see the school that I worked with during my year in Peace Corps Jamaica. This is one of the last pictures that I took while living in Jamaica.

If you look there are beautiful places everywhere, and this bridge is at Lenon Mill Park on the southwest side of Panora Iowa.

I love nature, I love animals, and this American Robin was just asking to be captured.

What a beautiful sight the moon is. I wonder what it was like to stand on the moon and look at earth.

I love living in Iowa. I love the farms, I love the sights, and there are so many gorgeous sights here.
